Martina Siena
Associate Professor
I graduated in Physics in 2009 and I obtained my PhD in Environmental and Industrial Fluid Mechanics in 2013. My research is focused on characterization of heterogeneity of flow and transport processes in porous and fractured media. I am involved in the research activities of the Solid Liquid Interface Nanomicroscopy and Spectroscopy (SoLINano-Σ) interdepartmental laboratory at Polimi.
Expertise in:
- Experimental investigation of mineral dissolution
- Geostatistical models for spatial/temporal variability of flow and transport properties
- Numerical simulation of pore-scale flow and transport processes in synthetic and reconstructed media
