DROPS promotes sustainable practices, smart systems, and Living Labs for evaluating the impact of design choices on water systems and urban ecosystems. The project includes an improvement intervention for stormwater management at the Cascina Nosedo Off Campus, considering three main aspects: Research, for optimizing stormwater management through the installation of a collection tank; Education, with a field laboratory (DROPS LAB) for water and soil measurements; Public Engagement, involving training of partner organizations and raising awareness among citizens. DROPS team includes researchers from three Departments of Politecnico di Milano (i.e., Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering) and is coordinated by Prof. Anita Raimondi.
