Prof. Guadagnini recently published a paper entitled “A new efficient approach to model stiff biogeochemical reactive transport scenarios across groundwater systems.” The paper addresses computational challenges stemming from complex biogeochemical reactive transport models by introducing a novel approach based on Computational Singular Perturbation. This approach simplifies the model by reducing the number of species associated with its formulation.
