Huge congratulations to our postdoc Chiara Recalcati!

Chiara has been honored with the Prix de la Faculté de Géosciences et de l’Environnement (Université de Lausanne) for her outstanding PhD thesis, “Stochastic characterization of reactive processes in porous media.” This award acknowledges her seminal and synergistic experimental and theoretical studies leading to quantitative understanding of nano-scale patterns of heterogeneous geochemical reactions taking place at mineral-fluid interfaces and driving chemical weathering of the Earth interior. 

The award ceremony took place in Lausanne on 6th December 2024.
