Our PhD candidate Chiara Recalcati is spending two weeks at the Université de Lausanne (Switzerland) to perform microfluidics laboratory experiments at the Environmental Fluid Mechanics laboratory.

In the context of her joint PhD agreement, Chiara is developing microfluidics devices under the supervision of Pietro de Anna to study how heterogeneities in the porous structure affect the filtration processes of colloids.
