Proud to announce that Monica and Alberto’s paper “Reduced-order Monte Carlo simulation framework for groundwater flow in randomly heterogeneous composite transmissivity fields” is now published! Upon relying on moment equations for groundwater flow and conduct space reductions for transmissivity and hydraulic head, the paper develops a reduced-order modeling strategy providing Monte Carlo simulations of groundwater flow in heterogeneous transmissivity fields.
