MIPORE is hosting a new visiting PhD! Sabrina Volponi from the University of Notre Dame (USA) will spend a visiting period in Politecnico di Milano to work on her research under the supervision of prof. Giovanni Porta. In her PhD thesis, Sabrina focuses on hyporheic transport in streams, matrix diffusion in fractured media, and colloidal transport through fractured media.
