The paper, ‘Intrinsic permeability of heterogeneous porous media,’ authored by Wenqiao and Alberto, is the results of the collaboration with Dr. David Scheidweiler, Dr. Nolwenn Delouche, and Prof. Pietro de Anna from Université de Lausanne, as part of Wenqiao’s double PhD project between UNIL and POLIMI. This study provides a theoretically sound link between a heterogeneous porous medium structure and its permeability.
