Exciting times for MIPORE group at the 17th InterPore annual meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

This incredible event provided the perfect platform for us to share our latest research with the broader porous media community.

Highlights from our presentations:

• Chiara shared her latest modeling results on statistical scaling of nanoscale dissolution rate.
• Aronne presented a novel stochastic model for solute mixing in heterogeneous porous media.
• Alberto showcased an innovative experimental setup to assess freeze-thaw cycles’ impact on solid-water interfaces.

Beyond the scientific discussions, we immersed ourselves in the stunning desert landscapes, including a visit to Sandia Peak. A truly inspiring experience!
