We had a lot of fun at InterPore2023 conference in Edinburgh!
Many members of MIPORE Team presented their work at the Annual International Conference on Porous Media this year. Leonardo showed his results on uncertainty quantification in modeling gas migration in low permeable media. Angeliki delivered a talk on the dehalogenation of diatrizoate by sulfide-modified nano-scale zero-valent iron. Chiara shared some of her latest experimental results of nanoscale experimental investigation of mineral dissolution reactions. Milad’s poster on Physics Informed Neural Networks for modeling solute transport under uncertainty rose interesting discussions. Ashfeen presented a poster on the adsorption of Iodinated Contrast Media agents from a mechanistic standpoint. Wenqiao showed his experimental and theoretical framework to investigate how hydraulic properties of porous materials change due to biofilm growth.
