Our PhDs Andrea, Leonardo, Chiara and Laura presented their research at the EGU22 General Assembly in Vienna, Austria.  

Andrea presented the data-driven methodology he developed to reconstruct the geological traits of the subsurface system of the Po River basin. Leonardo gave a speech on the estimation of floods events related to extreme precipitations through machine learning. Chiara’s talk was keyed to the stochastic characterization of the heterogeneity of mineral dissolution reactions at the nanoscale. Laura focused on the uncertainty quantification of reversible degradation of Diclofenac under biotic, denitrifying redox conditions.
