I am a visiting PhD student coming from Hohai University, currently affiliated with the MIPORE group. My research focuses on improving the inversion algorithm for complex contaminant sources in an aquifer. The primary objective of my study is to utilize data assimilation algorithms to estimate source information and aquifer properties to predict the distribution of contaminant plumes over time. The findings of this research can provide valuable insights for developing strategies related to groundwater contamination remediation and management.
