Visiting PhD - February / March 2023
I am a research assistant at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. My research program deals with the quantification of groundwater resources in the Lower-Spree catchment in Brandenburg. As one of the water scarcest regions in Germany one of the key aspects of the program is going to be the quantification of the impacts of climate change as well as sociodemographic changes on the groundwater resources by simulating various scenarios. Based on these scenarios management strategies will be developed in order to satisfy the demands of the competing water users.
Expertise in:
- Numerical modeling of groundwater systems
- Large scale groundwater modeling
- Managed Aquifer Recharge
