I am a mathematical engineer, and I am currently involved in a PhD in Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering, carried out in collaboration with the Mathematical Models and Methods in Engineering program. The research project aims to develop theoretical models and numerical simulations of dissolution and precipitation processes at the mineral-fluid interface, in the presence of dissolved heavy metals.
