Nicole Baggio
PhD candidate
I am a Mathematical Engineer and PhD candidate in Mathematics and its Applications, in collaboration with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. My research focuses on numerical methods for reactive transport in heterogeneous porous media, with applications to the fate and transport of emerging pharmaceuticals. I develop and analyze discontinuous Galerkin methods, with the aim of providing accurate and reliable simulation tools for environmental applications.
