New publication for MIPORE group!

In collaboration with colleagues from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Barcelona), Giovanni and Martina have published a new article in Water Resources Research. The study, presenting a pore‐scale model of solute transport in biofilm‐colonized porous media, shows that biofilm structural properties, and not simply the total amount of biomass, play a central role in controlling solute transport.
