A new postdoctoral researcher joined MIPORE team!

Roel Hernández Rodríguez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Veracruzana (UV), Mexico, and both a Master’s and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Mexico. He has served as a full-time Associate Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. Roel’s research interests lie in Transport Phenomena in Multiphase and Multiscale Systems, the Modeling of Packed Bed Reactors with low tube-to-particle diameter ratios (dt/dp), and the application of Applied Mathematics to Chemical Engineering. He is now currently working on stochastic modeling of contaminant transport in urban soils.
