I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the MiPORE group within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Veracruzana (UV), Mexico, and both a Master’s and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Mexico. In terms of academic experience, I have served as a full-time Associate Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, where I was involved in teaching a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses. My research interests lie in Transport Phenomena in Multiphase and Multiscale Systems, the Modeling of Packed Bed Reactors with low tube-to-particle diameter ratios (dt/dp), and the application of Applied Mathematics to Chemical Engineering. Nowadays, I am currently working on the stochastic modeling of contaminant transport in urban soils.
