Our PhD candidate Chiara Recalcati is spending few weeks at the Université de Lausanne (Switzerland) to perform microfluidic experiments at the Environmental Fluid Mechanics laboratory.

In the context of her joint PhD agreement, Chiara is developing microfluidic devices under the supervision of Pietro de Anna to study how heterogeneities in the porous structure affect the filtration processes of colloids.
